In August, 14.52 PB of data was transferred through the Croatian Internet eXchange (CIX), which is the highest amount of traffic generated through CIX since its establishment in 2000.
In order to achieve as much traffic as possible through CIX, SRCE continuously works on attracting new members of CIX, but also on improving cooperation between members and establishing as much traffic exchange between them as possible.
Kroz Croatian Internet eXchange (CIX) u kolovozu je preneseno 14,52 PB podataka čime je dosegnuta najveća količina ostvarenog prometa preko CIX-a od njegove uspostave 2000. godine.
Da bi se ostvario što veći promet kroz CIX, Srce kontinuirano radi na privlačenju novih članica CIX-a, ali i na što boljoj suradnji članica i uspostavi što veće razmjene prometa između njih.
Subspace Communication LLC signed an agreement on membership in CIX and became the 37th member of CIX.

The European Internet Exchange Association (Euro-IX), which brings together 68 Internet eXchange Points (IXPs) from around the world, was founded in May 2001 with the aim of developing, strengthening and improving the cooperation of the IXP community.
Numerous IXPs have recognized the need to combine their resources to coordinate technical standards, develop common procedures, share and publish statistics and other useful information. This in turn gives IXPs, users, and the wider community a better insight into the world of IXPs.
Europsko udruženje za internetsku razmjenu (Euro-IX) koje okuplja 68 točaka razmjene internetskog prometa (IXP – Internet eXchange Points) iz cijelog svijeta osnovano je u svibnju 2001. godine s namjerom da razvije, ojača i poboljša suradnju IXP zajednice.
Brojni IXP-ovi prepoznali su potrebu za kombiniranjem svojih resursa kako bi se koordinirali tehnički standardi, razvili zajednički postupci, dijelili i objavljivali statistički podaci i druge korisne informacije. To zauzvrat IXP-ovima, korisnicima, a i široj zajednici daje bolji uvid u svijet IXP-ova.
