Srce launches new CIX location
The University Computing Center of the University of Zagreb (Srce) has launched the headquarters of the Croatian Internet Exchange (CIX) in the DC North data center in Varaždin.

Sveučilišni računski centar Sveučilišta u Zagrebu (Srce) pustio je u rad sjedište Croatian Internet Exchangea (CIX) u podatkovnom centru DC North u Varaždinu.
New CIX member Eco Net d.o.o. is connected to CIX switching infrastructure on May 7th 2025.
7. svibnja 2025. na preklopničku infrastrukturu CIX-a spojena je nova članica - Eco Net d.o.o.
Srce presented the new visual identities of Srce services and systems on April 29, 2025 by publishing them on the Srce public website at www.srce.unizg.hr. We will systematically publish the new visual identities on all other websites and applications throughout 2025.
Srce je predstavilo nove vizualne identitete usluga i sustava Srca 29. travnja 2025. godine objavom na javnom webu Srca na adresi www.srce.unizg.hr. Nove vizualni identitete ćemo sustavno objavljivati i na svim drugim webovima i aplikacijama tijekom 2025. godine.
Srce continues to actively contribute to a safer Internet in such a way that the Croatian center for the exchange of Internet traffic, CIX, aligned with the recommendations of the Mutually Agreed Norms for Routing Security (MANRS), the most important of which are the prevention of the spread of incorrect information in routing and the protection of the peering infrastructure.
Srce nastavlja aktivno doprinositi sigurnijem internetu na način da je hrvatsko središte za razmjenu internetskog prometa, CIX, uskladilo s preporukama Mutually Agreed Norms for Routing Security (MANRS), a najvažnije su sprječavanje širenja netočnih informacija u usmjeravanju i zaštita peering infrastrukture.
Croatian Internet eXchange (CIX) is Croatian centre for exchange Internet traffic founded and hosted in University Computing Centre (SRCE) in 2000, and during all these years, Srce experts have been designing, building and maintaining its network infrastructure since 2016, distributed across two CIX locations.
The CIX infrastructure was last renovated in 2018 to ensure adequate capacity for connecting CIX members, primarily at 10 Gbit/s, with a very limited possibility of connecting at 100 Gbit/s.
Croatian Internet eXchange (CIX) hrvatsko je središte za razmjenu internetskog prometa osnovano i udomljeno u Srcu 2000. godine, a tijekom svih ovih godina stručnjaci Srca projektiraju, grade i održavaju njegovu mrežnu infrastrukturu od 2016.
