Hurricane Electric LLC potpisao je ugovor o članstvu u CIX-u. Hurricane Electric LLC tako je postao 33. članica CIX-a.
On Monday, November 7th 2016, the peak traffic over CIX crossed the line of 40 Gbit/s for the first time. The peak traffic of 30 Gbit/s was first breached in May this year, which means that CIX traffic increased by 33.3% in last six months.
U ponedjeljak 7. studenog 2016. godine vršni promet preko CIX-a prvi put je prešao granicu od 40 Gbit/s. Vršni promet od 30 Gbit/s je prvi put probijen u svibnju ove godine što znači da je u 6 mjeseci narastao za 33,3%.
