Avalon d.o.o. signed an agreement on membership in CIX and became the 36th member of CIX.

Twelfth session of CIX (Croatian Internet eXchange) Council is held at Srce on Thursday 1st June 2017. The session was attended by representatives of 15 CIX members (Akton, Amis Telekom, CARNet, H1 Telekom, Hrvatski Telekom, Metronet, Metronet telekomunikacije, Ministarstvo uprave, Odašiljači i veze, Omonia, Optima Telekom, Sedmi odjel, Styria, Terrakom i VIPnet).
 

The new Chair of CIX Council, VIPnet, is elected for a period of one year.

New CIX member Logosoft d.o.o. Sarajevo is connected to CIX switching infrastructure on 23th May 2017.

Due to the probelm with CWDM system between the CIX1 and CIX2 locations, the redundant optical link currently has a 10 Gbit/s bandwidth capacity.

The total bandwidth between the two locations at this moment is 30Gbit/s.

New CIX member Hurricane Electric LLC is connected to CIX switching infrastructure on 4th May 2017.
