CIX becomes Euro-IX Association member

(Zagreb, January 1, 2008) Croatian national point for Internet traffic - Croatian Internet eXchange (CIX) became a new member of the European InternetExchange Association, Euro-IX abbr. 

Euro-IX is an association of European Internet Exchanges (Internet eXchange Points - IXP) was formed in May 2001 with the intention to promote an open exchange of ideas and experiences among its members. Euro-IX also gathers information on regulatory issues affecting some members within the region but it also covers the areas of interest to all its members. Euro-IX Association members are the leading European Internet Exchanges points and IXP points from Japan and the United States. Euro-IX currently has is 44 members. 

The Euro-IX Association membership will provide Srce with direct exchange of ideas, information and experiences with European and other international Internet exchange points, aiming at providing quality service to CIX members and Croatian Internet community.
