On 16th May 2008, RIPE NCC (Réseaux IP Européens Network Coordination Centre) held at Srce the Local Internet Registry Training Course.

RIPE (www.ripe.net) is one of 5 regional internet registers providing the distribution of internet resources (IP addresses, AS numbers), registration of resources distribution and coordination of activities insuring global functioning of the internet.

On Monday, April 14 2008, the CIX (Croatian Internet eXchange) Council held its second session at Srce. The session was attended by 10 CIX members representatives (Croatia Airlines, CARNet, HRT, Iskon Internet, Optika kabel TV, OT - Optima telekom, SDueH, VIPnet, VM mreže, Voljatel telekomunikacije). The University Computing Centre submitted to the Council a report on the work for the past one-year period describing the current membership state, recently joined members in the past period as well as a statistical report of realised IP traffic over CIX.

(Zagreb, January 1, 2008) Croatian national point for Internet traffic - Croatian Internet eXchange (CIX) became a new member of the European InternetExchange Association, Euro-IX abbr. 

Interconnection of new CIX members, Amis Telecom and Croatia Airlines to CIX Point of Presence was established during December.

The amended CIX Rulebook and a new version of the Agreement for the members harmonised with the amended Rulebook became effective on October 31, 2007.
