 (Zagreb, 21st September 2010) University Computer center (Srce) and Omonia d.o.o. signed a contract with which Croatian Internet eXchange (CIX) got its 20th member.

We successfully performed an upgrade of equipment and it is now possible for members to connect to CIX switch to 10Gbps interface.

Croatian Internet eXchange (CIX) is a Croatian national center for the exchange of Internet traffic settled in University Computing Centre (Srce). 

CIX was established by the eighth September 2000. by the signing of the Memorandum on the establishment of a national center for the exchange of Internet traffic. 

Today CIX has 19 members - Internet service provider in the Republic of Croatia and the number of members is growing steadily.

On 09/01/2010. Magic Telekom d.o.o. has signed an agreement on membership in the CIX.

Interconnection of new CIX member, i3b Internetbreitbandbetriebs to CIX Point of Presence was established on Friday, June 18 2010.
