On 1st June 2016., CIX2 node at data center Altus IT, Zagreb, Selska 93, will be officially put into operation.

In order to build redundant infrastructure, optical link between two locations, CIX1 (located in DC Srce) and CIX2 (located at DC Altus) is realized, and WDM system is built on this optical link to ensure 20 Gbit/s of bandwith at the first stage.

24th March 2016 - new member connected to CIX switch - Tele2 Sverige AB.

Tele2 Sverige AB signed an agreement on membership in CIX and became the 30th member of CIX.

16th January 2016 - new member connected to CIX switch - Microsoft.

23rd December 2015 - new member connected to CIX switch - Cratis d.o.o.
